About Us

At Seattle Play Therapy, we are dedicated to providing quality, culturally-attuned child therapy to the Seattle community. We provide social, emotional and behavioral support for infants, toddlers, children, adolescents and parents of all identities and bodies.
Our therapists operate from an neurodiversity affirmative, anti-racist, anti-discrimination and social justice lens. We make an active commitment to dismantling systems of oppression and power/privilege with on-going training, self- reflection and advocacy both in the therapy room and in our lives

We serve infants and toddlers, children, adolescents and parents of all identities and bodies.

We value

Our approach is grounded in neurobiologically informed principles that help increase regulation and relational connection.

Play is the foundation for learning, relationships and emotional processing.

We affirm all races, abilities, cultures, neurotypes, in all bodies. Our therapists operate from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens.

We believe

Understanding the underlying needs behind a  behavior, allows us to meet those needs in new ways.

Safe relationships – where one feels valued and understood – is the primary indicator of resilience in the face of adverse experiences.

Increasing internal strength will change behaviors from the inside out, which leads to longer term change.
