Judy Ko, MA, LMHC
Licensed Therapist
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMCH) who continues to be enchanted with the ways each child and individual senses and responds to the world. As our life journeys unfold, at times we may need more protected spaces where we can access the power of play and receive extra support.
Play is a bridge between our internal experience and outer reality where we can organize our inner self concepts that may conflict with our externalized behaviors. With a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and neurodiverse –affirming approach, together we will find our way to being ourselves with each other. With the nourishing ingredients of attention and attunement in combination with determining external supports best suited for each context, I believe that we can all gain a deeper sense of who we are, discover healthier and more resilient ways of self-expression, connect with all the parts of ourselves and create more satisfying connection with others.
