Our Team

Savannah Davis, MSW, LICSW
Licensed Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 5 years of experience working with families, children (from ages 5 to 17), schools, and the foster care system. I am a person-centered, child-led, attachment-based, and relational therapist. That means when we work together, I will be tailoring my approach to the unique needs of your family, your child, and your circumstances. I believe relationships are the key to healing, and that includes everything from your child’s attachment to you to your child and family’s trust and comfort with me. I start by meeting you where you are to build a relationship in which you feel heard, validated, and empowered.
I am trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy, CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I use a mix of interventions, depending on what is needed, but child-centered play is the core of my therapy. Over and over again, I’ve seen even the most disengaged children open up through play. Play creates a unique space where children (and adults!) can connect, practice relationship skills, and share their perspective, which paves the way for greater understanding, and allows us to troubleshoot challenges that may be happening at home and school. Play therapy is also a space where children can find their voice, practice autonomy, and develop their sense of self.
